Drop-Off Service allows you to drop off your pet on the way to work, with a verbal or written description of your pet’s needs or concerns. We will perform a thorough examination and contact you at work with our recommendations. Often, we will complete all needed procedures and have your pet ready to go home with you after work. In addition to any medical procedures, this is a convenient time to schedule maintenance services, such as an outdoor walk, nail trim, bath, and teeth cleaning. Drop-Off Service can be arranged in advance by simply calling our office. Learn more about our Drop-Off Service and Pet Day Care.
Boarding Service is available on a limited basis due to space restrictions at our facility. We have four large runs, four-foot cages, three-foot cages, and two-foot cages. Our cat condominiums have resting perches, port holes, and glass fronts and backs, with good lighting and viewing, and are available for all our feline guests. Our flooring is solid resin, antibacterial, and easy to clean and sanitize. Heating and air conditioning is separate from other areas of the hospital, so comfort needs and exhaust fan ventilation can be customized for our boarders as needed. Our guests are hand walked outside, in the rear of our facility, three times daily for exercise and the opportunity to relieve themselves in a more natural setting. Most of our boarding care is for patients that need medication and observation for their medical conditions. Geriatric patients that are fragile may receive hand care for feeding, nutrition, insulin, antibiotic, dressing management, and fluid administration needs. Call well ahead of time to ensure our ability to accommodate your boarding needs, especially for holiday seasons. Visit our Boarding page for more information.
Bathing and Grooming is available in our modern facility, primarily for animals that have skin disorders that may require all-over clipping, shaving, or medicated baths. Our medicated shampoos are very helpful in treating skin diseases, offering your pet a process of cleansing, moisturizing, and sanitizing for a comfortable healing process. Many geriatric dogs and cats cannot take care of their haircoats, and it becomes matted and soiled. Infections can occur under these mats or around the anal area. We are able to clip, shave, clean, medicate, and dispense treatments that bring relief to your older pet. Occasionally, fractious animals will resist your grooming efforts. To minimize stress on these pets, we may sedate or anesthetize your animal to quickly and painlessly address these needs. Today’s newer, safer sedatives and anesthetics accomplish this with minimal risks to the older patient.
Due to space limitations, we are unable to offer cosmetic grooming, such as breed cuts, but we do offer referrals to local groomers that provide these services.
